Seasons Change and So Does Our Media
Every season we find ourselves changing our styles even in the slightest whether it’s to fit weather changes or where we’ll be spending the majority of our time. However one of the major players depending on what we wear and how we style it comes from pop culture and television influences. Here we’ll look at what shows, movies and other pop culture references have become known for their iconic seasonal aesthetics.
Spring
As the snow melts and flowers bloom most people see this as a fresh start and change. From floral patterns and flowy skirts and dresses, inspiration could be seen to be from shows such as bridgerton. This includes flowing blouses and satin intricate skirts and dresses.

Throughout Spring and Summer shows such Sex and The City and Desperate Housewives where we see many iconic fashion staples, particularly bright patterns and many flowy dresses. The influences we see through these shows have a chokehold on any girl looking for inspiration for their spring summer looks, with Carrie Bradshaw's mismatched combinations being a highlight. There's also Gabrielle Solis who had a range of iconic dresses as well as her never ending collection of Juicy Couture tracksuits, which I can admit influenced me to get one.

Summer
Summer sun means we see an increase in shows such as The Summer I turned Pretty and Outer Banks where it's bikinis and shorts for every look, especially for if you're participating in the ideal Europe Summer. Every summer we see everyone trying to get the perfect beach look from getting out there in one and two pieces and a pair of levis shorts. With a cute top from Hollister you can have the perfect beach look.

Autumn
One of the most popular shows to start around this time is Gilmore Girls, while the show isn’t specifically centred around fall, it’s prominence in the small town is felt. One of the main staples to come from this is knitted jumpers, particularly Rory's white cable knit, paired with a pair of jeans is what every girl wishes they had before the start of semester. There were also lorelais endless autumn colour outfits, particularly a stand out is her back leather jacket.

With Halloween also right around the corner, there's also a surge in binges of the Vampire Diaries and The Twilight Saga. You know fall is right around the corner when everyone (including myself) rushes to get out there hollister henleys and lace vest tops to get that Elena Gilbert or Bella Swann look. Paired with low rise jeans, that you can thrift from any Armstrongs and converse, all that's missing is that vampire boyfriend.

Winter
As autumn fades and snow begins to fall, hats and scarfs become a must. This time of year more and more people take the frazzled English woman look from the one and only Bridget Jones where a big coat with a cute outfit underneath is a must as well as a large oversized scarf for maximum warmth.
